Based in Athens and Andros

Chrisa Liarmacopoulou was born in Venezuela and lives and works in Athens, Greece. Drawing on a background in graphic design and advertising, she has developed a distinctive artistic practice centred on memory, transformation, and the expressive potential of materials.

In 2018, while living on the island of Andros, she established an improvised ceramics studio where her series Salted was conceived, using saltwater and earth as vessels of memory, experience, and energy. Her work reflects a deep connection to the natural landscape and the four elements, exploring themes of human relationships, instinct, love, desire, freedom, and personal transformation. She currently works between Athens and Andros.
