Maria Todeschini (b. 1998, Venice, Italy) is a visual artist whose practice explores the reconstruction of an archetypal world through the fusion of figures drawn from both collective imagination and personal memory. She studied Figurative Arts at Art High School M. Polo in Venice and later graduated in Visual Arts from IUAV University of Venice.
Her work is inspired by the dreamlike realm, childhood visions, folklore, and imagined narratives, creating images inhabited by hybrid creatures and enigmatic characters. Through painting and drawing, Todeschini investigates play and childhood imagination as primordial forms of magic, weaving memory, fantasy, and myth into poetic visual worlds.
